Bienvenue is leaving to join private equity firm General Atlantic as managing director, leading the firm’s capital solutions initiatives for pension plans.
In the updated guideline, the plan said it would hold “appropriate director nominees accountable at companies lacking human capital management related disclosures consistent with CalPERS’ Governance and Sustainability Principles and Labor Principles.'”
At the recent meeting, the CIO spoke about better
returns, staff accountability and board risk appetite management with this approach.
