Swiss pension fund PUBLICA’s head moves to a consulting firm

Stefan Beiner will join c-alm as a partner in March 2025

Stefan
Beiner, the deputy director and head of asset management at the $40.5bn PUBLICA
announced stepping down after 16 years with the pension plan.

Beiner
joined the Swiss pension plan as a portfolio manager in 2008 and got promoted
to the role of head of asset management in 2013.

In 2014, he
took on the role of deputy director p
ost
leaving the pension fund, Beiner will join Swiss consultant c-alm as partner in
March 2025.

In the new
role, he will focus on investment consulting, controlling, and asset-liability
management.

The search
for a successor has begun.

Beiner began his career as a consultant at
McKinsey & Company.
