George
Graham, director at South Yorkshire Pensions Authority, will retire at the end
of 2025.

The system
will initiate its recruitment process of finding a successor in the summer.

Graham
joined the authority in 2018 and has overseen multiple important changes
including the way the system works with the transition of assets into the
Border to Coast Pensions Partnerships investment pool and made severe changes
in the dialogue of the authority with services to scheme members and employers.

He has also
served as a practitioner representative on the LGPS Scheme advisory board and as
well on the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association’s local authority committee.

He has also
worked at Lancashire County Council for almost seven years and held roles of
deputy director and director.
