LGPS Central has named Louis-Paul Hill as Investment Fund
Oversight & Strategy Manager.
Hill will be responsible for “helping Central deliver the investment
outcomes that Partner Funds require,” as written in his LinkedIn post, as he
brings his expertise in consulting and fiduciary background.
Further, he will be responsible for providing internal
oversight of public and private market investment strategies and feeding into
tactical and strategic decision making.
“His extensive experience delivering advice to LGPS clients
over many years will be an invaluable addition to the internal talent we
already have,” said CEO Richard Law Deeks, in a recent statement.

Prior to this role, Hill was serving as an independent
investment advisor at Cumbria Pension Fund for almost four months, where he
supported the growth of its investment portfolio and monitored the performance
of the managers.
He has also worked as an investment consultant at Aon for
almost fifteen years.
Hill earned his MBA from the University of Edinburgh.
LGPS Central’s fixed income team also underwent a personal
change with the hiring of Roger Webb, Simon Hancock, and the soon-to-join Carl
Shepherd, who are responsible for managing Investment Grade Credit, Emerging
Market Debt and UK Gilt Portfolios.
