David Vickers snags CIO role at Windmill Hill Asset Management

In February, Vickers joined the firm, which manages three major philanthropies endowed by the Rothschild family.

Windmill Hill Asset Management has appointed David Vickers as chief investment officer.  

In February, Vickers joined the firm, which manages three major philanthropies endowed by the Rothschild family. Prior to joining Windmill Hill, he served as CIO of Brunel Pension Partnership Ltd. in the U.K. for four years, where he played a key role in the investment organization’s net-zero journey.

Brunel Pension Partnership Limited (Brunel) is one of eight national Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) Pools in the UK.  

Before he moved to Brunel, Vickers served for seven years as the managing director for Russell Investment’s multiasset vertical, as a partner at Sarasin & Partners LLP for more than six years and as an investment manager at Barings Asset Management for nearly three years.
