Cbus Super has hired head of ESG integration

Talieh Williams, will take over the role of Justin Ginnivan, with a focus on supporting the fund’s long term sustainable returns

The $62.7bn Cbus Super named Talieh
Williams as the head of ESG integration, where she will support the fund’s
responsible investment approach.

In this key role, she will advance the
fund’s investing strategy and priorities to support the fund’s long term
sustainable returns.

She will report to Ros McKay, the head of
responsible investment at the firm.

For this role, the fund had previously
hired Justin Ginnivan in 2022. He has now moved on to be the director of
corporate finance at the University of Melbourne, as per his LinkedIn.

Most recently, Williams served as the chief
of staff to CIO and CEO at A$85.7bn Victorian Funds Management Corporation for
almost two years. In the role, she was responsible for developing strategy and
focused on impact.

She has previously also held the role of
head of investments stewardship at Victorian Funds Management Corporation until August 2021.

In between the two roles, Williams served
as ESG consultant and advisory at TTW Advisory for over a year.

She was also a member of the climate bonds
standards board at Climate Bonds Initiative for three years.
