“I am joining Bowman’s executive leadership team and will
be responsible for leading and developing CAIA’s global industry research and
thought leadership agenda and sharing it across all of our channels and
platforms,” said Filbeck, as the team looks towards addressing challenges
and opportunities for investment professionals in the coming campaigns.

“We are constantly looking around the corner and
helping our community focus on what’s coming, what’s new, and most relevant for
them and want that reflected in how we talk about ourselves,” Filbeck told
Markets Group.

Filbeck joined the firm as an associate director for content
development in 2019 and moved up the ladder in 2021 to serve as a director of
global content development.

Before becoming the managing director, he also served as the
head of UniFi by CAIA for three years.

In the role, he led the UniFi team and was accountable for
driving the strategy of program development and product positioning. He
organized an external strategic advisory council of senior investment
professionals across some of the largest banks, asset managers, and independent
wealth firms.

Before joining the CAIA Association, Filbeck has served as
board director and chair for programs committee at the CFA Society for over a
year.

He has also
worked as a president of board of directors for a year at CFA Society in
 Columbus.

Filbeck has a master’s in finance from Penn State University
and B.S. in Finance from Penn State Erie.
