Shenkman Capital Management has welcomed former professional basketball player and entrepreneur Jay Williams to its board of directors as part of the firm's expansion efforts in managing the wealth of high-net-worth individuals. 

Shenkman Capital Management has welcomed former professional basketball player and entrepreneur Jay Williams to its board of directors as part of the firm’s expansion efforts in managing the wealth of high-net-worth individuals. 

Williams, the second overall pick in the 2002 NBA draft and co-founder of Simatree, a strategic advisory firm, joined the board on Wednesday. In addition to his business ventures, Williams serves as an analyst for ESPN’s basketball programs. Shenkman Capital Management, specializing in leveraged finance markets with $30 billion in assets under management, primarily collaborates with institutional investors. The board also includes founder Mark Shenkman, Victor Rosenzweig, and Gloria Penn Thomas.
