Naomi Fink Joined Nikko Asset Management as Global Strategist

Nikko Asset Management Co., Ltd. ("Nikko AM") has named Naomi Fink as Global Strategist, effective immediately. This appointment comes as John Vail, the current Chief Global Strategist, plans to retire on March 31, 2024.

Nikko Asset Management Co., Ltd. (“Nikko AM”) has named Naomi Fink as Global Strategist, effective immediately. This appointment comes as John Vail, the current Chief Global Strategist, plans to retire on March 31, 2024.

Naomi Anne Fink will be responsible for offering comprehensive investment insights and strategy guidance to the sales team and clients across various asset classes, encompassing Japan Equities, Asian Equities, Global Equities, and Global Fixed Income.

In the transition period, John will collaborate closely with Executive Corporate Officer and Chief Investment Officer Hiroshi Yoh, along with Naomi Fink and Investment Strategist Hiromi Suzuki, to ensure a seamless handover. Since joining Nikko AM in 2006, John Vail has held the role of Chief Global Strategist, consistently providing valuable reports and insights on the world’s economy and markets to Nikko AM staff and global investors. He has also chaired Nikko AM’s Global Investment Committee (GIC) and led the development of the house view on developed markets.
