With experience of over 30 years in investment
banking and private banking, Joe Tang will now head the investment solutions at
Bank of Singapore, one of Asia’s biggest private banks.
Effective immediately, Tang will lead its
product and solutions strategy for the Hong Kong branch across areas including
capital markets, alternative investments, managed solutions and lending
advisory.
Tang will report to Vivienne Chia, global
head of investment solutions group along with locally reporting to Rickie Chan,
head of private banking and chief executive of the Hong Kong branch.
Prior to joining the Bank of Singapore,
Tang was the head of funds, alternatives and solutions at Bank of China Private
Banking.
Before that, Tang held the role of the head
of the Greater China region and the head of fixed income, commodities and currencies
for Citigroup Global Markets, where he spearheaded multi asset structured investment
solutions team.
The bank has recently made six new hires at
its Dubai International Financial Centre branch to enhance its product and
advisory services across the Middle East and Gulf Cooperation Council Markets.
