Former LAGERS CIO Brian Collett Joins I Squared

Collett left LAGERS in January.

Brian Collett, chief
investment officer of Missouri LAGERS for almost 19 years (where the 20 year
investment performance was
8.1%), recently retired and stepped into the role of managing director of
Strategic Engagement for I Squared Capital.
 He
made the following announcement on
LinkedIn:

“I’m delighted to announce I am joining @I Squared as
Managing Director, Strategic Engagement based out of Miami, remotely for now.

I Squared Capital is a leading independent global
infrastructure manager with over $38 billion in assets under management focused
on investing in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. The firm is
headquartered in Miami and has more than 250 professionals across its offices
in Singapore, London, New Delhi, Taipei, Sydney, and São Paulo. You can find
out more at www.isquaredcapital.com.

After my 20-year journey in the expansive role of a public
plan CIO, my aspirations have shifted. I’m now eager to delve into more
specialized avenues within my preferred asset class, Infrastructure.

Infrastructure is going to become a bigger part of the
investing landscape and play an increasingly critical role in the discussion
around the role of finance and markets and their impact on society. I am
confident that I Squared is well positioned to capitalize on this dynamic
landscape and its opportunities. I am super excited for this new challenge and
confident that I Squared is well positioned to capitalize on this dynamic
landscape and its opportunities.
