Royal London, the leading mutual in life, pensions, and investments in the UK, has made strategic appointments in its protection business. Fiona Wynn has been named head of protection proposition, while Mark Preston joins as service delivery manager overseeing large cases. These appointments align with the company’s expansion plans, particularly in the segments of high net worth and business protection.

Bringing a wealth of experience from Legal and General’s retail protection division, Fiona Wynn assumes responsibility for developing end-to-end propositions and engaging with customers. Her background includes extensive involvement in reinsurance, contributing to her expertise in proposition development and customer interaction.

Mark Preston, previously involved in Aegon UK’s individual protection business, which will transition to Royal London later this year, joins as service delivery manager.
