Exclusive Interview with Robert Cataldo, Chief Strategist and CIO at UFG Insurance

Where he's allocating, what’s impacting his investment strategy, and what’s keeping him up at night when the economy gives mixed signals.

The economy is giving some mixed signals with GDP above
expectations and inflation moving in the right direction but still above
target. During this interview, Robert Cataldo, Chief Strategist and Chief
Investment Officer at UFG Insurance discusses with Markets Group’s Madeline Heckman his economic expectations, where he’s allocating, what’s
impacting his investment strategy, and what’s keeping him up at night. 

Cataldo, at UFG Insurance since 2011, was a senior trader
and portfolio manager at Principal Asset Management during from 2007 to 2009
during the Great Financial Crisis. He went on to become a director at Rockwell
Collins in 2009.

He holds an MBA in Finance from Drake University and a BA in
Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
