MMBB Financial Services Hires New Chief Investment Officer

Hyde Hsu joins from the New York City Retirement System.

MMBB Financial Services has hired Hyde Hsu as
its new chief investment officer, filling a spot that has been vacant since Noradeen
Farlekas
left over the summer.

MMBB is a $3 billion retirement system for Christian ministry workers. Farlekas
spent three years as CIO before deciding to return to academia. She is now a
full-time assistant professor at Fairfield University in Connecticut.

Hsu joins from the New York City Retirement System (NYCRS) where she
spent the past eight months as a senior investment officer – public equities.
She previously spent 23 years with consultant Willis Towers Watson, serving
most recently as director of investments, manager research.

Hsu’s position at NYCRS – formally known as the
Bureau of Asset Management – is one of 23 that it is currently trying to fill.
