Caitlin Mooney joined AAA (The Auto Club Group) in the fall of 2022 as the Head of Alternative Investments, focusing on private markets including Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate and Infrastructure investments. Prior to joining ACG, Ms. Mooney focused on Alternative Investments for $900bn Dutch Pension Fund APG in the New York office. Prior to APG, Ms. Mooney was the Head Portfolio Manager for a family office, investing across both an actively managed public portfolio and private markets including a large real estate portfolio. Previously, Ms. Mooney was at Marathon Asset Management and prior to Marathon, Ms. Mooney spent 12 years at Weiss Multi-Strategy Advisers, where she was a member of the Risk & Investments Committee and held positions investing across asset classes including managing the firm’s Volatility Insurance Portfolio, a Long/Short Equity Portfolio, and helping to launch the firm’s Mutual Fund products. Ms. Mooney also worked at Morgan Stanley & Co. as a trader on the Equity Derivatives and Small Cap Equities desks. Ms. Mooney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Columbia University in New York, is an Ironman Champion and an All-American Athlete recognized by the USA Triathlon Organization. She currently resides in Miami Beach, Florida with her husband and daughter.

Christopher T. Battifarano is a Director, Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at FineMark National Bank & Trust since June 2016. He has 20 years of experience in asset allocation and portfolio construction. Mr. Battifarano serves on the following bank committees: Asset Liability, Investment Policy, and Trust. He is responsible for the investment process and philosophy while leading the Bank’s strategic and tactical investment recommendations.

Prior to FineMark, Mr. Battifarano was Director of Research for GenSpring Family Offices/Suntrust Bank in Jupiter, Florida, where he led the firm’s manager due diligence efforts around both alternative and traditional strategies. Mr. Battifarano earned bachelor, MBA, and BBA degrees from the University of Miami and has earned both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. He is also a member of The South Florida Society of Financial Analysts. He is based in FineMark’s Palm Beach office.

Deborah Querub is the Head of Digital Assets for Citi Wealth under the Office of the CIO. In this role, Deborah spearheads Wealth’s efforts to research and develop products and services to address increasing client demand for exposure to digital assets. Deborah is also the principal point of contact for all key stakeholders including clients and external partners as they explore and navigate this rapidly emerging space. Her team also provides our thought leadership on all aspects of digital assets including blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, asset tokenization, digital money and digital art driving dialogue around the future of finance.

Deborah joined Citi in 2019 to lead Electronic Foreign Exchange sales for Investors in North America. Prior to that, Deborah spent twelve years at Goldman Sachs in New York and London where she focused on the digitalization of Foreign Exchange trading and execution for Institutional Clients. During her tenure she gained invaluable insights into the intersection of finance and technology. Deborah holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick.

As Truist Advisory Services, Inc.’s co-chief investment officer, Oscarlyn Elder co-leads the Investment Advisory Group of more than 30 highly-credential investment professionals. Her team sources and researches traditional, long-only as well as hedge funds, private equity and private debt investment solutions for the benefit of Truist clients. Her team is also responsible for Truist Wealth’s diverse asset manager efforts and drives engagement with advisors and clients. Oscarlyn has more than 25 years of financial services experience with over 20 specifically in wealth and investment management. Her career has included responsibility for investment analysis, including equity and portfolio strategy, working directly with clients managing their portfolios, leading client facing investment professionals, and directly shaping the Truist investment experience.

Patrick McGowan is a Managing Director and Head of Alternative Investments at Sanctuary Wealth. In this role, Mr. McGowan oversees a team responsible for all alternative investment matters including manager sourcing, due diligence, selection, and monitoring. He serves as a member of the Alternative Investment Committee. Previously, Patrick was a Senior Vice President and Head of Product Management at Azimut Alternative Capital Partners, the New York-based GP-stakes arm of Azimut Group, one of the largest independent wealth management companies in Europe. Mr. McGowan joined Azimut from Invesco Private Capital, the $1 billion private equity and venture capital arm of Invesco (NYSE: IVZ), focusing on efforts for Invesco’s CalSTRS SMA and a fund-of-funds. Prior to Invesco, Mr. McGowan was at OC Private Capital, a joint venture between The Carlyle Group and OppenheimerFunds, the advisor to a $1 billion close-ended interval fund focused on private credit. Prior to this role, Mr. McGowan was a Senior Director at AI Insight, supporting RIAs and wealth management firms’ alternative investment due diligence efforts, and establishing regulatory and fiduciary best practices. Mr. McGowan started his career at OppenheimerFunds, then worked at Altegris Investments as a Vice President. Mr. McGowan earned a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations.

Salvador Juncadella is the Head of Alternative Investments at BigSur Partners, a Miami-based multi-family office managing $1.3 billion for 25 global families. Since inception, BigSur clients have committed over $500 million to alternatives. At BigSur, Salvador plays a key role across investment decision-making, the management of client & prospect relationships, and strategic business development initiatives for growing the firm. Before rejoining BigSur, he was the Director of Business Strategy at TwinFocus Capital, a Boston-based multi-family office. Outside of the office, Salvador and his wife launched Casa Shasa, an online platform to showcase their passion for art and personal collection, and he also serves on the Leadership Council of CasaCuba at Florida International University.
