Kelly Young to Become CEO of Acadian

Acadian Asset Management has appointed Kelly Young as its Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Acadian Asset Management has appointed Kelly Young as its Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Kelly, who retains her seat on the Acadian Executive Committee, succeeds Ross Dowd, who has served as CEO since 2018. Ted Noon will take on the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Acadian, succeeding Kelly Young.

Kelly Young, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Acadian Asset Management, will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s day-to-day operations, executing long-term strategic initiatives, and driving its next phase of growth. With 15 years of experience at Acadian, she has served in various leadership roles, including Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Young joined Acadian in 2009 from its U.K. business and has a background in senior portfolio management positions at Northern Trust Global Investments and Barclays Global Investors.

Ted Noon, recently promoted to Chief Marketing Officer at Acadian Asset Management, will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s global client service and distribution efforts. In his previous role, he served as Senior Vice President and Director of the Americas Client Group. The rest of Acadian’s leadership team will continue in their current positions, with Brendan Bradley remaining as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer.
